MARCO FARAONE

Tuscany-born and now Barcelona-based, Marco Faraone grew up surrounded by music, with a DJ father and folk-singing grandfather. Initially exploring hip hop and drum & bass, he eventually found his passion in techno, becoming a resident at Florence’s famed Tenax club. From there, he rapidly rose to prominence, performing at iconic venues like Fabric, Panorama Bar, and DC10. Known for his dynamic sets that range from deep and nuanced to powerful and explosive, Marco had a standout season at Amnesia in 2022, showcasing his versatility across house and techno.

His productions have gained widespread acclaim, with over 40 original tracks, two full-length albums, and numerous releases on labels such as Rekids, Drumcode, and Defected. His own label, UNCAGE, has become a cornerstone of the underground scene, featuring a mix of legendary artists and rising talents. With a relentless creative output, Marco continues to shape the sound of contemporary techno, making him one of the most respected names in the industry today.
